ABOUT CANNINGTON 

Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead.  Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.

Flights are direct to the onsite airport, and the mine is only 3.5 km from camp—the perfect distance for a sunset walk or run home along a purpose-built walking track. The onsite accommodation includes meal services, sports/gym facilities, swimming pool, music room, and social area.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position on an 8:6 roster, Thursday to Thursday, FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires.

As the Supervisor Site Services, you will be responsible for leading a site services trade-diverse team to deliver safe, compliant and efficient maintenance of non-process infrastructure assets, ensuring strong planning, coordination and performance outcomes aligned with business standards.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Execute planned and reactive work across non-process assets
• Coordinate with planners, contractors and suppliers to deliver work scope
• Conduct team briefings and communicate priorities, risks and changes
• Monitor performance against targets and escalate complex issues

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Demonstrated supervisory experience within mining or heavy industry
• Leading teams within maintenance or infrastructure environments
• Building strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders
• Solving problems and adapting to shifting priorities under pressure
• Driving safety culture, accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications for this position are: 

• Electrical Trade qualification
• Current electrical licence; Electrical Mechanic or Electrical Fitter Mechanic
• Mining Supervisor (G1, G8, G9) qualification, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
• Current Drivers Licence
