ABOUT CANNINGTON 

Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead.  Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.

Flights are direct to the onsite airport, and the mine is only 3.5 km from camp—the perfect distance for a sunset walk or run home along a purpose-built walking track. The onsite accommodation includes meal services, sports/gym facilities, swimming pool, music room, and social area.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

This permanent role offers a 8:6 roster, with FIFO options from Brisbane or Townsville and DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay Shires.

As the Supervisor Processing Services, You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant execution of Processing Services activities, while providing frontline leadership to employees and contractors.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Conduct pre-starts, field verifications and work-quality checks.
• Monitor schedules, equipment availability and operational constraints.
• Coordinate priorities across Processing, Maintenance, Mining and Technical Services.
• Review contractor performance and support continuous improvement plans.

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Mineral processing or mining operations, with exposure to earthworks and material handling.
• Proven leadership of operational teams and contractors.
• ROM management and heavy vehicle operations.
• Strong communication, coaching, decision-making and stakeholder influence.

Qualifications for this position are: 

• Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
