ABOUT CANNINGTON
Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead. Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.
Flights are direct to the onsite airport, and the mine is only 3.5 km from camp—the perfect distance for a sunset walk or run home along a purpose-built walking track. The onsite accommodation includes meal services, sports/gym facilities, swimming pool, music room, and social area.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 Monday to Thursday roster, FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires.
As the Manager Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading maintenance planning and execution for mobile and fixed plant equipment, electrical, and structural remediation, ensuring safe, cost-effective and reliable performance across the site.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Own the full maintenance and work management lifecycle, from planning through to execution
- Drive HSE, availability, and cost outcomes across fixed and mobile assets
- Lead a large, multidisciplinary maintenance team through strong technical and operational leadership
- Guide asset strategy, scheduling, and system adherence to achieve efficient and effective outcomes
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Extensive experience in maintenance leadership within the mining industry
- Proven success managing large teams and budgets, within complex operating environments
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance planning, execution, and risk management
- Clear decision-making skills with the ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications for this position are:
- Relevant industry qualifications and/or demonstrated leadership development (desirable)
- Current Valid Driver’s Licence
