ABOUT Hermosa

Hermosa, located approximately 75 miles south-east of Tucson, Arizona, is the only advanced mining project in the United States as of 2023 that could produce two federally designated critical minerals—manganese and zinc—as well as silver and lead. The project has the potential to help power the nation’s clean energy future, strengthen the domestic supply chain of critical minerals, grow the local economy, and improve lives in Santa Cruz County and the surrounding community for generations to come.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

As Project Coordinator- Clark you will be responsible for supporting the Clark project team with the coordination and communication of project work and ensuring that documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project. 

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 
•    Serve as point of communication between internal teams and external resources
•    Communicate plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders
•    Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that project teams adhere to provided scope, schedule, and budget
•    Liaise with study team to ensure that all aspects of the project are organized and in conformance with study execution plan and standards
•    Deepen partnerships with external resources, including third-party consultants, contractors, and vendors
•    Analyze project progress and produce status reports

ABOUT YOU 

•    3+ years of experience in capital projects, mining/ heavy industry and/or technical disciplines
•    Bachelor of Engineering, Science, or Business degree preferred
•    Experience in coordinating internal and external teams 
•    Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
•    Strong written & verbal skills, experience developing presentation materials 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
