ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

The Specialist Technology Connectivity , is the end-to-end expert on infrastructure product suite. With a customer success centric mindset, he will facilitate and oversee all execution within the Technology Infrastructure at Mozal Operation.

The responsibilities of the Technology Connectivity Specialist include analysis, design, development, deployment, monitoring, innovation, support, maintenance, optimization, availability management, risk management, contract and vendor management while promoting South32 Values and Care Strategy.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Ensure delivery of Technology services and solutions to the operation in compliance with South32 Technology Standards and ITIL best practices;

• Support the end user base and act as an escalation path for Technology issues or opportunities;

• Ensure ongoing feedback loops with the OT and Manufacture Execution System (MES) Teams in relation to stakeholder requirements, expectations and satisfaction with infrastructure related activities and services;

• Manage Technology Service Providers and ensure delivery of contracted services within agreed service level agreements and budget;

• Drive implementation of South32 Corporate Initiatives and Projects at Mozal Operation;

• Identify opportunities for cost and productivity improvement and drive implementation of initiatives towards those achievements;

• Develop Technology Infrastructure plan, source, implement and maintain;

• Contribute to technical direction and guidance to Operation leadership as well as Technology team, as per the Technology strategy architecture and technology plan;

• Manage Technology Risks;

• Coordinate Technology audit activities and maintain compliance;

• Adhere to South32 Values and Care Strategy.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• 4 years of experience on a similar role;

• Understanding of ITIL Service Management Framework;

• Demonstrated technology infrastructure management experience;

• Sound knowledge and experience of contract and vendor management;

• Project management experience in Technology environment;

• Deep technical skills and knowledge of service management practices and lifecycle;

•Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science;

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Project Management Certifications will be advantageous.
