ABOUT MAMATWAN

The South Africa Manganese operation can be found in the manganese rich Kalahari Basin, in the country’s Northern Cape, which is home to 80 per cent of the world's manganese. This position is based at our open-cut Mamatwan mine which started operating more than half a century ago.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

As a trainer process, you will be responsible to adhere to the Competency Declaration framework through planning and facilitating training, assessments and certification to meet organisational objectives.

 

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

Plan and facilitate classroom training.
Conduct on-the-job training and coaching of Process operators and supervisors
Conduct Mineral Process assessments and declare competency.
Conduct moderation of assessments where required.
Schedule PTOs for plant supervisors according to training requirements.
Conduct Needs Analysis if needed
Conduct planned task observations and training verifications according to CDF
Review and develop/update relevant learning materials.
Implement continuous improvement of training material and processes
Implement and manage individual projects.
Advise and provide guidance to line and employees regarding Training legislation.

 

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in training;

 

Qualifications for this role are:

Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent;
ODETDP Level 4;
MQA Registered Assessor
Mineral processing Certificate (NQF 3) Or Metallurgy/chemical Engineering qualification
Moderator Certificate (Advantageous)
