ABOUT MAMATWAN:

The South Africa Manganese operation can be found in the manganese rich Kalahari Basin, in the country’s Northern Cape, which is home to 80 per cent of the world's manganese. This position is based at our open-cut Mamatwan mine which started operating more than half a century ago.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

As a Trainer Mining, you will be responsible to provide theoretical and practical training and assessments, as well as follow up training and coaching in the Mining field to meet organizational objectives.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

•Plan and facilitate classroom training;;

•Conduct relevant assessments and declare competency;

•Conduct moderation of assessments;

•Review and develop/update relevant learning materials;

•Conduct planned task observations and training verifications.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

•Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in training environment;

•Mining or  Energy  experience is preferred;

•Strong experience in developing commercial strategies and leading high-value strategic negotiations, strong understanding of commercial principles;

Qualifications for this role are:

•Grade 12 and a ODETP level 4 together with a Blasting certificate;

•Registered Assessor

•Driver's License
