ABOUT HMM:

 

Hotazel Manganese Mines (HMM) is made up of two Manganese mines Mamatwan and Wessels. Both operations are located in the Kalahari Basin, home to 80 per cent of the world’s manganese reserves.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

This role is a permanent full-time position.

As a Specialist Technology Service Management, you will be responsible for leading the category of energy-effecting commercial agreements that optimise the utilisation and cost across the portfolio at the African operations and support operational safety, cost and committed environmental targets.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

•Providing advice and recommendations, based on expertise and experience, to address client needs;
•Ensuring methods and tools are adopted and used effectively throughout the organization;
•Agreeing targets for service levels and assessing, monitoring, and managing the delivery of services against the targets;
•Providing a source of consistent information about available services and products to customers and users;
•Ensuring that services deliver agreed levels of availability to meet the current and future needs of the business;
•Assessing risks associated with proposed changes and ensuring changes to products, services or systems are controlled and coordinated;
•Defining and operating a framework for making decisions, managing stakeholder relationships, and identifying legitimate authority;
•Planning and implementing organisation-wide processes and procedures for the management of risk to the success or integrity of the enterprise;
•Defining and operating a management framework of processes and working practices to deliver the organisation’s quality objectives.

 

 

ABOUT YOU:

 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

•Minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow Hands-On experience in working in platforms on a global scale;
•Strong experience of working alongside vendors;
•Sound knowledge of contract and vendor management processes and practices;
•Ability to apply in-depth knowledge, skills and judgement by assessing and translating information technology into responsive and effective planning solutions;
•Working knowledge of service delivery models, and working with external service providers;
•Experience with working alongside architects understanding architecture patterns, security assessments, access management for platforms.

Qualifications for this role are:  

• Serious contenders will have a Degree/Diploma in Information Technology;
• Grade 12.
