Located on the tropical Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, GEMCO is an open-cut mine that is accountable for over 20% of the world’s manganese ore production. Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a permanent position on a 7:7 day/night roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
As the Asset Health Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating proactive maintenance responses for the reliability of Mobile Equipment and to support the Mining Operations Dispatcher.
Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage HME defect reporting and entry into SAP, using real-time monitoring to address alarms and trends
- Liaising with Maintenance and Production teams to optimise equipment availability and minimise downtime
- Mine safety and compliance monitoring
- Providing coverage for Dispatch operations when required
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- A passion for workplace safety, engagement and improvement.
- Previous experience in Dispatch, Mine Control and/or a Maintenance Coordination Role
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
- Trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge with SAP and Fleet Management Systems/Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – beneficial
