ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a Permanent role on a Long sport man’s Continuous roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night.
Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.
As the Technician Electrical Instrument, you will be responsible for the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and refurbishment activities in line with approved systems, plans and work instructions.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Completing work in accordance with SAP processes, including accurate transactional data capture
- Delivering high‑quality outcomes aligned to maintenance schedules and job plans
- Contributing to fault finding, root cause analysis and reliability improvements
- Clearly scoping corrective work to support effective planning and scheduling
- Managing materials responsibly, including returns of unused or repairable items
- Reporting hazards and events promptly and supporting investigations and observations
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with a preference for experience in large-scale refinery operations that demonstrates your capability in a dynamic environment.
- Maintaining complex industrial processing equipment in an operational environment
- Interpreting drawings and technical documentation to complete work accurately
- Working collaboratively with operations, planning and contracting partners
- Communicating clearly, showing strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Qualifications for this position are:
- WA ‘A’ electrical license
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s license
Desirable Qualifications
- High voltage switching operator
- High risk workers license – FL,WP
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation
