ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a Permanent role on a 42 hour per week, continuous Day Shift / Night Shift roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night.
Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.
As the Supervisor Production you will be responsible for leading frontline production teams to safely execute operational plans, achieve performance targets and support continuous improvement across the Bayer production area.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Coordinate daily production activities and allocate resources to meet shift objectives.
- Monitor plant performance, identify issues and drive timely resolution of operational challenges.
- Contribute to planning, scheduling and handover activities to support reliable operations.
- Build an inclusive team culture through coaching, collaboration and ongoing capability development.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Leading and supporting operational teams within a processing, manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
- Building positive working relationships across a diverse range of teams and stakeholders.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, risk management and operational discipline.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing people to achieve individual and team success.
- Managing changing priorities and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicating clearly and confidently while fostering trust, accountability and collaboration.
Qualifications for this position are:
Essential:
- Demonstrated technical experience within a mineral processing, refining, oil, gas or heavy industrial environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams.
- Holds, or has the ability to obtain, a Schedule 26 Supervisory Appointment.
Desirable:
- Certificate III in Process Plant Operations or a related discipline.
- Formal leadership training or leadership development experience.
- Understanding of control room operations and production execution activities.
