ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent role working 40 hours per week on a 9-day fortnight roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night. 

Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.

As the Specialist Work Management Planner, you will be responsible for developing & communicating the plans and schedules in accordance with the Work Management processes, organisational compliance to risk management processes and the Australian industry standards and procedures.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Plan and Schedule work orders using SAP in accordance with work management processes to ensure safe execution of work for all South32 employees and Contractors to maintain a safe and reliable plant.
• Monitor and manage preventative and corrective work strategies including statutory plans for safe and effective deployment of resources, materials management, and budget adherence.
• Facilitate the creation of weekly schedules to ensure alignment of all work management activities aligned to production plans and milestones.
• Build and communicate accurate work schedules reflecting all work management activities, ensuring they are adequately resourced and aligned to the corresponding planning windows.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:  

• Self- reliant contributor who works wells in a team and automatously.
• Competent to high performer using SAP PM and MM modules.
• Experience with fixed plant and refining equipment and activities.
• Ability to think through problems, solve them and work collaboratively.
• Advanced Computer literacy skills in particular MS suite (MSP, Excel, Word).

Qualifications for this position are:  

• Mechanical or Electrical Trade (Electrical Highly regarded).
• Experience in a Bayer Refinery desirable.
• Experience in Power Stations desirable.
• Certificate in Asset or work management highly regarded.
