Location

This role will be based at our Worsley Refinery, where our employees choose to live in the Bunbury, Collie or other nearby communities which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, this is an opportunity too good to miss.

As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in and out on a daily basis. Employee’s ideally live within an hours drive of Collie.  

 

Accountabilities 

Primary responsibilities are to:

  • Act as a 2IC to the Supervisor, taking on supervisor duties where needed. This is a development role.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of data on movement and storage of material as per guidelines and procedures, with focus on adherence to HSEC guidelines.
  • Provide input towards warehouse operation strategies, budgets, and plans as well as improvement of work management processes.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, expertise, administration and direction to the team to ensure delivery against plans; Guide and coach individual team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement in order to build a high performing team. 
  • Conduct regular inspection of material and storage space to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Ensure on-time execution of all deliveries from internal and external customers, liaising with contracted logistics Vendors for scheduling and compliance to Chain of Responsibility legislation.
  • Conduct regular compliance ensure adherence to SAP processes and work instructions, and the entering of the relevant transactional data in SAP & G360.


 

About You   

  • Completion of Secondary school
  • Holds relevant licenses that are required for warehouse operations - LF Forklift essential, HR Driver’s License & LO highly desirable
  • Self-reliant contributor with distinctive proficiency in the Warehouse Management area with a minimum experience of between 2 and 4 years
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully lead a team and influence others.
  • Collaborated with a small group of internal and external stakeholders on middle management level
