ABOUT THE ROLE 

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week on a Monday to Thursday roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night. 

Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.

As the Rope Serviceperson Maintenance, you will be responsible for safely executing planned maintenance activities to support equipment reliability, operational performance and the delivery of maintenance schedules across the mining operation.

Key deliverables for the role are, but aren’t limited to:

• Complete maintenance work in line with approved work instructions and schedules.
• Maintain accurate work management records and update maintenance information systems.
• Contribute to equipment reliability through problem solving and root cause investigations.
• Identify opportunities to improve work processes, maintenance data and planning outcomes.

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Working within a mining, mobile maintenance or heavy industry environment.
• Following safety procedures and consistently applying safe work practices.
• Maintaining wire rope and line gear along the OBC in the Materials department
• Building positive working relationships across maintenance, operations and support teams.
• Demonstrating strong attention to detail, reliability and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications for this position are: 

Essential:

• Current C Class Driver's Licence.

 Desirable:

• Forklift High Risk License
• HR Class Driver's Licence
• Working at Heights
• Dogman High Risk License
• Basic Rigging High Risk License
