ABOUT THE ROLE 

If you are an experienced former Operator from Worsley we want to hear from you! We have Permanent positions on a 42hrs per week, day shift / night shift roster at our Worsley Refinery across various areas.

Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.

As the Operator Refinery Process, you will be responsible for safely executing scheduled production activities while operating plant and equipment in line with HSEC requirements, operational standards and procedures.

Key deliverables for the role are, but aren’t limited to:

• Receiving and providing clear, accurate shift handovers using logs and check sheets
• Completing assigned work in line with supervisor instructions, scope and timeframes
• Identifying emergent work, understanding root causes and escalating issues early
• Conducting personal risk assessments and raising safety concerns proactively
• Maintaining housekeeping, workshops, tools and amenities to required standards
• Recording work completed and follow‑on requirements to support planning and improvement

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience working in an Operator capacity at Worsley and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Working within a production or processing environment with strong safety focus
• Following procedures while remaining alert to gaps, risks and improvement opportunities
• Collaborating effectively with peers, maintainers, technical teams and contractors
• Communicating clearly during handovers and when reporting issues or delays

 Qualifications for this position are: 

• A Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
• Holds Certificate III in Process Plant Manufacturing or a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an operator in a minerals/oil/gas process plant environment
