ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position that is DIDO daily, from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.  

Reporting to the Superintendent Electrical Maintenance, the purpose of the Electrical Services Supervisor role is to lead a team of maintenance electrical/instrument, HVAC, lift technicians and small projects crew to ensure the safe, cost effective and productive execution of maintenance and scheduled work activities to support the operations at Worsley Alumina Refinery.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Oversee all aspects of electrical maintenance execution activities in area of responsibility
• Duties under your appointment as a Statutory appointed electrical supervisor
• Ensure electrical work is conducted safely by competent electrical personnel in accordance with the relevant standards and operating procedures and relative legislative requirements.
• Delivery of safe outcomes through safety leadership, in-field coaching and application of procedures and policies
• Guide and coach individual team members to build a high performing team

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:  

• Currently or can be appointed a statutory supervisor under Schedule 26
• Deep knowledge of electrical maintenance activities for industrial equipment including radiation devices, gas appliances and safety systems
• Demonstrated ability to develop, coach and mentor employees resulting in improved engagement, performance and efficiency.
• Intermediate proficiency in computer applications such as SAP, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Qualifications for this position are:  

• Trade Certificate as Electrician and WA unrestricted electrical license
• Preferable qualifications as Instrument Fitter or Cert IV in Instrumentation, Refrigeration.
• Possess significant supervisory experience in a maintenance environment
