ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent role, 40 hrs/week on an 8-day fortnight roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night.
Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.
As the Boilermaker you will safely maintain equipment in accordance with 1SAP processes, schedules, and work instructions. Your role will focus on minimising costs, maximising production, and driving continuous improvement to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with Supervisor Maintenance or Superintendent Maintenance to confirm work orders and to scope and allocate resources for efficient completion.
- Collaborate with execution, engineering and planning colleagues to develop and ensure maintenance discipline and safe work practices are current and effective.
- Ensure compliance to the 1SAP process for work execution and capture related transactional data into the 1SAP system.
- Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Some exposure in Fixed Plant Maintenance area with a minimum experience of between 1 and 3 months.
- Desirable to have 1SAP data entry, Work Order processing and warehouse functions knowledge
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborated with a small group of internal stakeholders on individual contributor and supervisory level
Qualifications:
- Boilermaker Welder Trade certification, Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (Boiler making/Welding)
- Current C drivers licence
- Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency
Desirable:
- HR Class driver’s license
- High Risk Work Licenses for forklift, elevated work platform, basic rigging, and accredited Working at Height training
- Confined space and CN Crane tickets
