ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a permanent position on a 9-day fortnight roster at our Boddington Bauxite Mine, which is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

This position is a drive in drive out role with no camp facilities, however buses do run from Mandurah and Armadale.

As the Supervisor Maintenance (Facilities and Infrastructure), you will be responsible for leading the safe, efficient execution of Non-Process Infrastructure maintenance activities to deliver reliable performance and support operational targets.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Leading planned and breakdown maintenance in line with weekly and daily schedules
• Driving defect elimination and improving asset reliability across crushing and conveying systems
• Providing visible field leadership, coaching teams and supporting safe, quality work execution
• Partnering with planning teams to optimise work management processes and improve outcomes

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Hands-on maintenance in a heavy industry or mining environment
• Sound knowledge of water abstraction and distribution systems.
• Experience leading multi disciplined teams
• Strong safety leadership with a focus on risk awareness and safe work practices
• Ability to lead, coach and support diverse teams in dynamic environments
• Effective communication and relationship-building across teams and stakeholders
• Experience applying maintenance planning, scheduling and execution discipline
• A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications for this position are:

• Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor appointment
• Relevant trade qualification

Desirable:

• Formal leadership qualification
