ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on Dayshift 40hrs per week Monday to Friday roster, DIDO from our Worsley Alumina Boddington Bauxite mine, which is a short drive from Boddington (15 minutes), Pinjarra (45 minutes) Mandurah (60 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities
As the Specialist Mine Monitoring & Control, you will be responsible for leading the monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement of mine control systems to enhance safety, data integrity, and operational efficiency at Worsley Alumina.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Supporting the configuration, maintenance & health of mine monitoring systems
- Collaborating with teams to improve system performance & accessibility
- Coaching site teams in effective system use & data accuracy
- Partnering with tech & maintenance teams to maximise system reliability
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Applying systems knowledge in a fast-paced, team-based industrial setting
- Communicating clearly across departments to resolve complex challenges
- Working independently with initiative, structure, and attention to detail
- Driving continuous improvement through collaboration and insight
Qualifications for this position are:
- Tertiary qualified in Computing/Information Systems, Electronics, Communications, Electrical or Mining Engineering or other relevant tertiary/trade qualification
