ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position on a 42-hour dayshift roster at our Boddington Bauxite.

Please note that accommodation is not provided on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out to site on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Boddington.

As the Officer Maintenance Technical (Fixed Plant), you will be responsible for supporting the Supervisor in leading the fixed plant maintenance crew, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently and in line with schedules, plans and standards.

 Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:  

• Planning and allocating labour and equipment resources for maintenance tasks.
• Evaluating and scoping work requests promptly to enable effective planning.
• Managing execution of work orders and reallocating tasks when required.
• Closing completed work orders to maintain full process compliance.
• Participating in weekly planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment.
• Providing technical and process support to operators and technicians.

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:  

• Coordinating maintenance activities in heavy industry or fixed plant environments.
• Communicating effectively across teams and building collaborative relationships.
• Using SAP or similar systems for planning, scheduling and resource management.
• Applying problem-solving skills and sound judgement under pressure.
• • 2–4 years’ experience in heavy industry, including fixed plant maintenance activities.

Qualifications for this position are:  

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Successful completion of the Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor exam
• Current Western Australian C class drivers license
