Responsible for project management, JV management & strategy, business planning, performance analysis and projects evaluation, financial modelling, risk assessment and business plan for Chile Copper as well as the monitoring and evaluation of business plans and projects relating to SGSCM and other BD related opportunities in Chile and the Region. Coordination and preparation of investment analysis, costs and production aimed at monitoring and projects analysis, production costs, working capital, cash flow, profitability, watching the direction and supporting managing goals into the SG JV.
Accountabilities
Individual accountabilities:
Support different projects implementation at SGSCM, which includes but not limited to investment projects such as expansion 4th Grinding Line, project CP%, expansion of TSF, development of CNE amongst other directional studies within SG JV to preserve long term value.
Preparation of analyses and comments on the performance of SGSCM, as well as macro-economic synopses and monitoring of financial indicators that affect the business.
Committees’ participation to support Chile Copper in the JVs Management ensuring adequate sustainable implementation of JV Management Framework.
Responsible for the analysis and business plans for monitoring the JV, producing financial modeling, notes, comments, scenarios analysis and variations. It will incorporate value driver tree analysis and the implementation of on-line dashboard reporting suites.
Support with creation, development and management of the SG JV strategy, business plans and critical path to deliver higher value to shareholders which will include financial, operational, maintenance and improvement of models for the projection of electricity costs, raw materials, working capital, labor, overhead, and capital requirements. It aims to provide an integrated view of all business areas.
Facilitator for SG JV and Chile Copper Business Plan activities from the planning cycle and coordination of yearly BP strategic reviews.
Interface with functions preparing analyses and reporting progress of different initiatives in order to ensure the adhesion of the operation in Chile to corporate planning and the adequate submission of investment approvals, and supporting of technical/operational performance reviews.
Development of financial modeling, risk assessment and economic studies for different projects, support business development on opportunity evaluation and other businesses aimed at the constant improvement of the profile of the portfolio of the Group of business in Chile and the region.
Active participation in preparation and maintenance of LoOP at SG JV, incorporating into the valuation model (RSM) and provide analytical support on ad-hoc valuation projects.
Qualifications, Skills and experience
Qualification/s Required: Finance or Engineering related Degree
Minimum years of work experience: More than 7 years of proven Financial and / or operational expertise.
