ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position on 8-day fortnight at our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, as Lubrication Technician the purpose of this role is to safely execute maintenance work as per SAP processes, maintenance schedules and work instructions.

This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.

 

This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes – bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities.  

 

As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie.  


key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

·       Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures.

·      Perform all types of lubrication tasks including greasing of bearings, hydraulic pack oil levels, topping up pneumatic lubricators, changing filters and installing remote lines where required

  • Ensure compliance to SAP process for work execution and capture related transactional data into the SAP system.

·       Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions as directed by the supervisor maintenance or superintendent maintenance.

·       Work is executed to the highest standard and history is recorded in SAP for future reference.

·       Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.

 

ABOUT YOU 

·       Previous exposure in the maintenance area with a minimum experience of 3 months with a good understanding of maintenance processes, tools and equipment

 

Qualifications for this position are:

·       Current C class driver’s license

Desirable

·       Mechanical Trade qualification

  • AP data entry, work order processing and warehouse functions knowledge

·       HR Class Driver’s License

·       High Risk Work License for Forklift

·       Elevated Work Platform

·       High Risk Basic Rigging

·       Accredited Working at Height Training

·       Accredited Working in Confined Space Training
